Syn's Sound Engineer and Audio Director, Yu Lu brings a wealth of expertise and passion to the Shanghai studio, where she has been an integral part of the team since July 2023. With a diverse background spanning both traditional composition techniques and modern music engineering, Yu's journey in sound began at the age of 7 when she embarked on her musical odyssey with the Guzheng.
Her academic pursuits led her to Zhejiang University of Media and Communication, where she delved deeper into music composition and engineering, subsequently pursuing graduate studies in recording arts at the prestigious Shanghai Conservatory of Music, honing her skills further.
Yu's professional career is marked by over four years of dedicated service as an advertising sound engineer and mixer, where she lent her expertise to numerous commercial projects. Her talents have lead her to recordings in the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra's summer Misa performances.
Outside the studio, Yu is a seeker of sonic excellence, spending her time recording in music halls and delving into the latest advancements in the audio field. Her portfolio boasts an impressive array of projects, including the Yuet Gangan promotional video "Beautiful," NOOF's "Right or Wrong," and collaborations with esteemed brands like Jordan, VW, Kao Life+, and Loreal AP.
