Declan Lowney

Declan’s work is characterized by a light comic touch and warm, sparkling performances. He has that canny knack of capturing the emotional beats of a story, while still keeping it funny.
His long-running Warburtons bread campaign has featured performances from Sylvester Stallone, The Muppets and Peter Kay. Declan is a sucker for the sunshine, and is increasingly working in LA; he directed the pilot for Damaged Goods in 2015, two episodes of the comedy/fantasy/musical Galavant in 2016 and last year directed two episodes of American Housewife, all for ABC.
In the last few years, Declan directed Chris O’Dowd’s Emmy-winning series Moone Boy, and Steve Coogan’s hilarious No. 1 UK box-office movie, Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa. Most recently, he directed four episodes of Idris Elba's Sky series, In The Long Run.
