On October 16th 2023, The Walt Disney Company celebrated its 100th anniversary, recognizing a century of storytelling, captivating the minds of children and adults alike since 1923. The Walt Disney Imagineering team, based in the historic Disney headquarters in Burbank, Los Angeles, collaborated with Syn for a special commemorative event for Disney employees, unveiling the ‘Disney 100’ logo for this centenary year.
With original music from Syn, composed by Nick Wood and orchestrated by Rupert Egerton-Smith, the logo-unveiling features an all-star cast of Disney characters from across the ages, including characters from Frozen, Moana and Coco. To bring the magic of Disney to life, Syn recorded a live orchestra in Macedonia, adding warmth and depth to this cinematic soundscape as Disney takes a momentous step forward into their next century.
