Villa La Coste is set in the Luberon area of Central Provence in the South of France surrounded by vines and olive groves a short drive from the picturesque town of Aix-en-Provence. The hotel itself is part of the whole 'Chateau La Coste' experience, which includes an Arts Centre, four Restaurants, Café, Wine Shop, Vineyard and extensive art collection featuring installations by Andy Goldsworthy, Tadao Ando, Annie Morris and many more.
We are curating music for the heart of the hotel, the lobby area, with playlists paying tribute to the breathtaking natural environment surrounding the hotel. Indeed, the whole complex is very inspired by nature, as well as Japanese aesthetics thanks to numerous buildings and installations by Tadao Ando. Upon arrival at the hotel, there is a water installation with a sculpture next to a doorway, leading you through the entrance to the hotel into a long colonnade with Jasmine Plants. As visitors arrive they are greeted with sights - natural, artistic, and architectural - and sounds - selected music, hushed, happy conversations – that are a tribute to this special place.
